Taipei Public School - Certified Homeroom Teacher For Grade 5-6 - NT85,000+ per month

Are you a certified public school teacher looking for a position at an excellent school in Taipei, Taiwan? 

Reach To Teach is partnered with a number of excellent public schools and private schools in Taipei. We're looking for passionate and experienced teachers with formal teaching experience. Your job will be to increase students' interests and motivations in studying English by providing fun and engaging lessons and activities for your classroom. 

We have a private public school in Taipei that is looking for one certified homeroom teacher to teach Grade 6. The teaching hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

TEACHING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certified teacher in your home country or this school will consider teachers with a minimum of one year of formal teaching experience (This is a FIRM requirement. TEFL teachers and teachers with sub teaching licenses are not eligible for this position.)
  • Valid Public School Teaching Certification for Elementary Classes
  • You must have valid homeroom teaching experience in the public school system in your home country or in Taiwan.
  • Clear National Background Check from your home country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK and the US) 
  • Full university degree

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

  1. MONTHLY SALARY: Your starting salary will be at least NT$70,000-NT$90,000 per month plus at least NT$15,000 in salary perks. It will go as high as NT$90,000+ per month. (Your base salary depends on education, experience, and qualifications.) 
  2. BONUSES: Attendance bonus and performance incentives (Approximately NT$7,000 to NT$15,000 per month) + Contract Renewal Bonus + LNY Bonus
  3. PAID VACATION: 10 days paid vacation time during the winter and 10 days paid vacation time during the summer, plus National Holidays. Teachers are not required to teach in July.
  4. SICK LEAVE: 12 days per year (half-day pay with doctor's note)
  5. AIRFARE REIMBURSEMENT

  7. HOUSING ALLOWANCE
